Aris Triantafyllidis

I'm a Full Stack Engineer building scalable React and Python applications. I enjoy owning features from idea to production, across the database, the API, and the UI, and turning complex requirements into software that's fast, accessible, and easy to maintain.

Day to day I work with Python, React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Jest, React Testing Library, Git, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

Throughout my career, I've focused on continuous learning, attention to detail, and delivering products with the user in mind. I'm passionate about growing across the full stack while deepening my expertise in modern frontend architecture and component design.

I value quick feedback loops, simplicity over complexity, and making intentional trade-offs. You'll often hear me advocating for clean code, maintainability, and understanding not just how we're building it, but whether we're building the right thing.

Before I ever wrote a line of code, I spent a few years as a bartender across the Greek islands - Santorini, Kos, and the Peloponnese. It was through friends in tech that I first got curious about software engineering, and that curiosity quickly turned into a passion. I decided to go all in, enrolled in a Computer Science degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and never looked back.

These days I'm based in Thessaloniki, building frontend applications and always looking for the next thing to learn. Outside of work you'll usually find me exploring new places to eat, watching football, or diving into whatever rabbit hole has caught my attention that week.
